The Finance Manager/Controller will be responsible for supporting the organization’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and cost accounting activities while partnering with manufacturing and operational teams. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supports monthly close and compliance activities, and provides financial analysis to support business decisions.
This position offers strong exposure to manufacturing accounting, inventory/cost accounting, and operational finance.
General Accounting & Financial Reporting- Prepare, review, and post journal entries including accruals, inventory adjustments, payroll, and fixed assets
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies
- Support internal controls and financial compliance initiatives
- Assist with fixed asset accounting including capitalization, depreciation, and asset tracking
- Support regulatory reporting, including sales and use tax filings as required
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to complete monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Prepare financial reporting packages and variance analysis for leadership review
- Analyze financial results and provide supporting explanations for operational leadership
- Support inventory accounting including valuation, reconciliation, and reserve analysis
- Assist with annual standard cost roll and maintenance of costing structures
- Analyze manufacturing variances including labor, material, and overhead variances
- Monitor inventory for excess and obsolete items and support mitigation strategies
