Family Medicine Physician – Brattleboro, VT

Position Overview

Brattleboro Family Medicine is seeking a dedicated, full-time Family Medicine Physician to join our outpatient clinic team in Brattleboro, VT, starting Fall 2025. This position offers a supportive work environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to diverse populations, including adults and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outpatient primary care services in family medicine, managing both adult and pediatric patients.

Maintain an average daily patient volume of approximately 14, ensuring quality care within a manageable workload.

Perform clinical duties, including thorough patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care.

Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently through electronic medical records.

Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists, nurses, and administrative staff, to optimize patient outcomes.

Participate in administrative and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and practice efficiency.

Join the on-call phone rotation (1:11) to provide after-hours support to patients.

Stay current with licensing, certification, and continuing medical education (CME) requirements to maintain clinical proficiency and compliance.

Contribute to the long-term stability and growth of the practice through succession planning and team engagement.

Requirements and Qualifications

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine.

Valid DEA registration.

Current BLS certification.

Ability to obtain a VT medical license prior to start date.

Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Willingness to start by Fall 2025.

Candidates residing within a one-hour commute are preferred.

This position is full-time and not suitable for candidates planning to combine this role with other employment.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary :
Guaranteed base salary of $230,000, with potential to earn an additional $20,000 annually through quality bonuses.

Student Loan Repayment :
Up to $10,000 per year in matching funds, along with a negotiable sign-on bonus to support your transition.

Outpatient setting with reasonable patient volumes and a collaborative team culture.
