The Brantford Golf & Country Club (BGCC) is one of Canada’s most historic private clubs. Established in 1879, BGCC is the 4th Oldest Golf Club in North America, offering a championship 18‑hole course, practice facilities, and a vibrant year‑round social atmosphere. Brantford Golf & Country Club is seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance, conditioning, and continual enhancement of its golf course and grounds. The Superintendent will report to the General Manager and be a visible, engaged leader, serving as the face of the golf course operation. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong agronomic expertise, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to find operational efficiencies while maintaining championship‑level playing conditions.
This position requires a member‑focused communicator who values feedback, thrives in a collaborative environment, and takes ownership of the golf experience from tee to green.
- Responsibilities: Lead maintenance, conditioning, and continual enhancement of the golf course and grounds; ensure championship‑level playing conditions; manage staff and operations; promote safety and environmental stewardship.
- Leadership & Communication: Act as a visible leader, communicate effectively with members, staff, and stakeholders; value feedback and foster teamwork.
- Agronomy & Operations: Demonstrate strong agronomic expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and implement operational efficiencies.
