About the RoleFunded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, Employment Ontario services are available to assist both job seekers and employers.
As an Employment Consultant, you will:- Develop employment opportunities for clients
- Provide employment and training needs assessment and case management
- Develop Service Plans
- Provide instruction, individual support and advocacy
- Facilitate workshops
- Complete reporting requirements
- Collaborate with local training providers
- Work with local employers to provide placements
- Monitor client’s employment retention for 365 days
- Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with 2 shifts per month until 8:00 p.m.
- Annual salary range: $47,288-$51,870 plus comprehensive benefits

- Have a minimum of 1-year experience in a related field
- Be proficient in MS Office and be familiar with databases
- Access to reliable transportation, as some travel may be required
- Ability to manage exposure to vicarious traumatic stress
