At SOAR, we’re more than just a health and social service provider—we’re a passionate team dedicated to empowering lives across Brantford, Brant County, and Haldimand County. From mental health and addictions to housing, justice, and employment, we offer a full spectrum of accredited services that make a real difference.

Funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, Employment Ontario services are available to assist both job seekers and employers.

• Develop employment opportunities for clients
• Provide employment and training needs assessment and case management
• Develop Service Plans
• Provide instruction, individual support and advocacy
• Facilitate workshops
• Complete reporting requirements
• Collaborate with local training providers
• Work with local employers to provide placements
• Monitor client’s employment retention for 365 days

• Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with 2 shifts per month until 8:00 p.m.
• Annual salary range: $47,288-$51,870 plus comprehensive benefits

• Have a College Diploma in a Human/Social Services or Business field, with a Career Practitioner/Job Development certificate an asset
• Have a minimum of 1-year experience in a related field
• Be proficient in MS Office and be familiar with databases
• Access to reliable transportation, as some travel may be required
• Ability to manage exposure to vicarious traumatic stress
