Intermediate Structural AutoCAD​/Revit Technologist

We are committed to delivering top-notch structural solutions. As an Intermediate Structural AutoCAD/Revit Technologist, you’ll play a pivotal part in our structural design and drafting team.

Our Structural design team offers services throughout the entire project life cycle, from pre-project planning to detailed design and construction. ANC Modular Inc is currently seeking an Intermediate AutoCAD/Revit technologist to join our Structural Design team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of building design concepts and structural systems in both steel and concrete structures. They should be a self-starter capable of working both independently on projects and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary design team.

• Set up new Revit Structure project files and maintain project file structure.
• Collaborate with other drafting team members, both internally & externally.
• Work with BIM managers and technical design staff to prepare drawing documentation.
• Proficiently work in Revit Structure on 3D projects, including maintaining multiple models, creating views, ensuring accurate object placement
• Create electronic data files in compliance with ANC Modular Inc and client requirements.
• Maintain drawing revisions by managing and tracking project drawings and specifications.
• Develop and prepare designs and drawings from preliminary concepts to 'ready for engineer review' stages.
• Prepare and produce drawing sets and 3D renders
• Check and verify drawings to conform to specifications or design data.
• Provide support to Project Coordinator, QA/QC Manager, Project Manager regarding all project-related issues.
• Identify project risks, problems, and issues as early as possible.
• Liaison and collaborate with Owners and Engineers.
• Participate in meetings.
• Light Physical Demand. 0-20lbs.
• Identify and report immediately any safety hazards.
• Comply with ANC Modular Inc, Ontario Health and Safety Association, and MSDS safety standards.
• Complete provided Health and Safety education as provided.

• Proficiency in producing structural design, building layouts, and drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Previous experience with Revit Structures.
• Practical experience in reinforced concrete and steel structural detailing.
• Experience in wood and masonry structural detailing is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to self-check and correct work.
• Consistently produce high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Compliance with CAD/BIM standards and Quality Assurance.
• Good understanding of Building Information Modeling.
• Ability to conceptualize and design practical solutions.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to meet project deadlines.
• High motivation, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  
  Excellent interpersonal skills with a "team player" approach in completing deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Certificate or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience in the architectural/engineering/contractor industry.
