Special Education Part 1 - Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to implement individualized programming based on diagnosed needs
- Superior communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of Differentiated Instruction, curriculum development and assessment/evaluation practices
- Understanding of effective assessment practices (e.g., Growing Success)
- Ability to work as part of a team
The teacher will provide face‑to‑face support for eLearning students with an IEP, who may require additional in‑person support through a drop‑in resource center. The teacher will work as part of a team at the St. Mary’s Catholic Learning Centre – Brantford Campus to meet the individual needs of students in grades 9‑12.
