Child care provider – private home

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. This role involves supervising children, facilitating educational activities, and providing support to their developmental needs. The Childcare Provider will play a crucial role in fostering a positive atmosphere where children can learn and grow.

Must have atleast 7 months experience providing care for children or alternatively have provided care for own children.

Must possess the ability to supervise and care for multi-aged group of children.

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens. Bath, dress and feed children.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize, activities such as games for children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Supervise and care for children.
• Take children to and from school and to appointments if need be.
• Tend to emotional well-being of children. Help children with homework.
• Take children to soccer practice and games.
