Summary

The Transportation Driver is responsible for the daily Transportation Driver Duties. They will assist in loading, unloading, & transporting individuals safely to and from scheduled appointments in a manner that complies with federal/state/company rules & regulations.

• Must be a minimum of 18 years old
• Have a valid driver’s license and able to obtain/maintain Class E
• Pass 10-panel drug test and background check
• Must be flexible with working schedule, split shift hours at this time.
• Communicate effectively with riders, guardians, and other staff
• Computer experience is a plus

• Provide daily transportation in a safe and timely manner
• Treat riders with respect, dignity, and courtesy; drivers are required to assist all riders on and offthe bus
• Safely secure wheelchairs and other mobility devices and follow all applicable procedures
• Conduct pre-and post-trip inspections, and report issues for repairs
• Complete required documentation and paperwork in a timely manner
• Comply with federal/state/company rules and regulations

• This is an active job that requires many physical demands including sitting, walking, bending,reaching, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying. Must be able to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking
• Regularly required to talk or hear
• Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; this may be more with some work assignments.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision,depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
