A registered nurse is sought for a contract position at a leading rehabilitation and critical illness care center located in Branson, MO. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission; develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and set goals.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in medical records.
• Participate actively in rehabilitation programs, applying the nursing process to deliver direct patient care.
• Initiate discharge planning from admission, providing targeted patient and family education.
• Communicate changes in patient status to care providers ensuring continuity and safety.
• Provide supervision and training to ancillary nursing personnel; delegate tasks appropriately.
• Uphold personal and environmental safety standards per hospital policies.
• Foster a positive work environment through teamwork and effective communication.

• Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation.
