Customer Service Rep
Overview
The Host-Cashier is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing seating. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities- Creates a welcoming atmosphere and greets guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manages waitlists or reservations and seating assignments to ensure a smooth service flow.
- Provides menus and is informative to guests.
- Communicates with servers and management regarding table availability and guest needs.
- Maintains cleanliness of the host stand and entrance area.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Preferred Degree:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. - Certificate(s) or License(s):
None. - Years of experience: 0.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Multitasking & organization to manage reservations, waitlists and seating flow.
- Problem‑solving to handle guest concerns, special requests, and unexpected issues with ease.

- Occasionally does computer work.
- Seldom/Never sits or lifts up to 50 lbs.
Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
