Showboat - Guest Services Team Member, Box Office; Seasonal

Position: Showboat - Guest Services Team Member, Box Office (Full-Time Seasonal, 2026)
Job Summary:

As a Box Office Team Member for the Showboat, you will use a computerized system to reserve and sell seating for each two-hour dinner cruise, accept payment from guests and provide excellent guest service. We are looking for applicants that will demonstrate attention to detail, multitasking skills and communication skills through one-on-one interaction, phone, and radio communications.

This position starts 03/02/2026 and ends 12/31/2026.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned to assist the Showboat Team.

• Uses a computerized program to reserve and sell admission to an assigned seating attraction.
• Provides guest service and handles guest concerns.
• Accept payment in various forms and makes accurate change when necessary.
• Answers questions concerning tickets, promotions, schedules and reservations and gives information concerning coming attractions at Showboat and other Silver Dollar City properties.
• Maintains accuracy and attention to detail; keeps daily balance sheet of payments received and tickets sold.
• Must be comfortable working in a small space with other workers.
• Must be able to demonstrate multitasking skills.
• Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
• Solves problems with minimal supervision; must be self-motivated and self-directed.
• Interact with fellow employees without distracting them while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude. Communicates with team members via two-way radio as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Competency working on a computer (navigation through program and keyboard use) is required. Must be able to communicate efficiently.

Education/Experience:

Previous customer service and cash handling experience are preferred.
