Position: Substitute Application (Clerical)

Qualifications

  • Typing, accounting, computer skills, language arts, records management skills, accounts payable skills.
  • Ability to handle ongoing projects without direct supervision.
Other Requirements

Clearance on background check satisfactory to the Senior Administration.

  • Possess ability to interact and communicate effectively with others.

Essential Functions
  • Accounts payable (enter invoices), prepare checks for mailing.
  • Oversee business office files.
  • Purge, organize and prepare files.
  • Typing, copying, and filing of various school district records in a timely manner.
  • Assist the administrative assistant with insurance documents.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Cross training with other business office positions.
  • Assist in answering telephone, screening callers for the district office.
  • Assist the Business Office in completion of all routine tasks.
  • Keep all office business confidential.

Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to sit, talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to walk and use fingers and controls.
