Summer Laboratory Intern

• Gain hands-on, practical experience with the drug development process by actively carrying out fundamental research related to drug stability
• Learn practical laboratory skills, the use of laboratory instruments, and data analysis
• Practice public speaking when presenting project results
• Earn $22 per hour (housing and transportation not provided)

• Develop and implement appropriate laboratory testing procedures
• Organize and analyze data
• Prepare and present slides on the results including an overview at the end of the internship
• Work at least eight weeks over the summer, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at the Free Think laboratories in Branford, CT

• Have completed at least freshman year in college with an intended major in Chemistry, Engineering, Biochemistry, Material Science, or related field
