What You’ll Be Doing- Operate, calibrate, and maintain GC‑MS instruments to ensure top‑tier performance
- Prepare and process samples using extraction, derivatization, and other relevant techniques
- Run analyses following validated methods and SOPs
- Review chromatograms, interpret mass spectra, and generate clear, reliable reports
- Maintain accurate documentation, instrument logs, and electronic records
- Assist in method development, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Participate in quality control processes to ensure high analytical standards
- Support lab organization, safety, and compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with scientists to keep projects moving efficiently
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Science, or a related field
- Experience with GC‑MS or chromatography‑based techniques
- Strong foundation in analytical principles and lab best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Comfort working with LIMS and maintaining clean digital documentation
- Problem‑solving mindset with strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- 1+ year of GC‑MS experience in a research, clinical, or industrial lab
- Background in cGMP or regulated environments
- Familiarity with additional analytical platforms (HPLC, LC‑MS, ICP‑MS, etc.)
