Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

A well-established and financially stable manufacturing organization is seeking a Controller to lead accounting operations and partner closely with senior leadership. This is a hands-on leadership role within a company known for long-term stability, low turnover, and strong operational performance.

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidations
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in a manufacturing environment
• Manage cost accounting, inventory, and standard costing processes
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Partner with operations and leadership on performance metrics, margin analysis, and strategic initiatives
• Manage external audits, tax filings, and internal controls
• Lead and develop a small accounting team

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership
• Prior experience in manufacturing or distribution strongly preferred
• Strong background in cost accounting and inventory
• ERP experience required (Net Suite, Dynamics, SAP, or similar)
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
