Indian Neck School
ABA Para educator - Pre-K
10-month position; 20 hours/week
Hourly Rate: $19.37 + $3.00 ABA differential per bargaining unit contract
Must have an academic degree or have earned at least 60 college credits, or have passed the Para Pro assessment
Example of Essentials Duties:
* Assists the teacher in establishing and maintaining a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
* Supports and assists the classroom by providing support to students with behavioral challenges through the implementation of ABA techniques
* Provide specific modifications, and/or accommodations, for assigned student(s). This can include repeating directions, performing task analysis, reading assignments or tests, document instructions and organize homework assignments.
