HousekeeperThe Housekeeper is responsible for daily cleaning of the apartment community’s public facilities, common areas, and grounds. The Housekeeper also cleans and prepares make-ready units in accordance with the property s operational objectives under the supervision of the Community Manager prior to move-in.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Community housekeeping
- Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
- Clean and remove trash from grounds and residential areas, including make-ready units and common areas
- Clean and prepare vacant units for move-in
- Clean and maintain the community’s offices, amenities, and common areas daily
- Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner
- Understand and follow Asset key policy
- Report observed violations of community rules and regulations to the Community Manager
- Use property resources, equipment, and supplies economically
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Community Manager
- Customer & Resident Relations:
Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness - Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition
- Ensure consistency in dealings with residents on all matters
- Enforce community policies as delegated by the immediate supervisor
- High School Diploma or Equivalent;
Bachelor’s degree preferred or one year’s experience in the housing industry - Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required
- Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
- Regularly able to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment; move in various positions to accomplish tasks; work in tight or confined spaces; remain stationary or mobile as needed; communicate with others and perform repetitive motions
- Frequently able to lift and place objects up to 25 lbs; may work overtime, weekends, and night hours for emergencies; may be exposed to hazardous chemicals
- Occasionally required to work in an overhead position, reach or move objects up to 25 lbs; operate machinery and tools; drive vehicles; work in extreme temperatures and outdoor conditions
At Asset Living, compensation decisions consider skill set, background and training, certifications, and other factors. The offer may include a total rewards package with benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, and disability insurance), 401K with employer matching, and bonuses where applicable. Full-time employees also receive paid sick days and company holidays.
Salary RangeSalary Range
: $16.80 per hour to $16.80 per hour
