Dietary Aide

Position: Dietary Aide

Location: Brandon, Florida

Facility: Victoria Crossing Rehabilitation

Shift: Full Time | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

The Dietary Aide assists in all food service functions as directed and in accordance with established facility policies and procedures. This position supports the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals to ensure quality nutrition and satisfaction for our residents.

• Assist in daily and scheduled cleaning duties per facility policies.
• Carry out garbage and maintain clean, dry, and hazard‑free work areas.
• Transport soiled utensils and trays to the dishwashing area.
• Deliver food carts, trays, and snacks to designated areas in a timely manner.
• Serve food in dining rooms according to portion control guidelines.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed.
• Check diet trays before distribution to ensure accuracy.
• Attend and participate in mandatory facility in‑service training programs.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Must be patient, tactful, and able to work effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, and lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a height of 5 feet and carry such weight at least 50 feet.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Must meet the general health requirements of the facility, including a physical examination.
