Construction Loan Administrator

Location: Onsite – Tampa, FL
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000 (DOE)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Loan Administrator to support the management and servicing of commercial construction loans tied to multifamily rental communities and commercial real estate developments.

This role plays a key part in ensuring that loan documentation, draw requests, and project milestones are reviewed accurately and processed efficiently. The ideal candidate enjoys working with loan documentation, financial analysis, and construction-related funding processes while collaborating with internal teams and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Loan Administration

  • Review and interpret commercial construction loan agreements to ensure compliance with funding terms and requirements.

  • Analyze and process draw requests, including AIA G702 Applications and G703 Continuation Sheets, for construction and rehabilitation projects.

  • Review invoices, contracts, and supporting documentation to verify funding eligibility.

Project Oversight & Compliance

  • Review construction inspection reports and confirm projects meet required milestones prior to funding.

  • Ensure compliance with loan terms, documentation standards, and internal policies.

  • Verify title insurance updates to confirm properties remain free of liens or encumbrances.

Documentation & File Management

  • Maintain accurate and organized loan files in accordance with company policies and audit requirements.

  • Track draw schedules, project updates, and required documentation throughout the life of the loan.

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal staff, clients, and project stakeholders during the funding process.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally regarding documentation requirements, draw approvals, and timelines.

  • Support coordination between loan servicing, underwriting, and project teams.

Qualifications
  • 1–5 years of experience in construction loan administration, construction accounting, or a related field

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience

  • Working knowledge of commercial loan documentation and construction funding processes

  • Familiarity with AIA draw documentation (G702/G703) preferred

  • Exposure to Davis-Bacon or Section 3 compliance is a plus

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
