In the role of Shop Technician at AgWest, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of agricultural equipment, including tractors, combines, sprayers, and other farm machinery. You will work in our well-equipped Neepawa shop, providing top-notch service to ensure our customers’ equipment operates at peak performance.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a wide range of agricultural equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on tractors, combines, sprayers, and other heavy‑duty agricultural machinery.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify and resolve issues.
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or equivalent experience.
- Experience in agricultural equipment repair and maintenance is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Valid driver’s licence.
