WhatYou’ll Do
As a Carpentry Lead Hand, you’ll support the Foreman and help ensure projects run efficiently by:
- Assisting with daily task planning and organizing the crew's workflow
- Reading and interpreting drawings, layouts, and measurements accurately
- Performing high‑quality carpentry work, including framing, formwork, finishing, and installation
- Operating tools and equipment safely and confidently
- Guiding and mentoring junior team members on proper techniques and safe work practices
- Monitoring material needs, site organization, and tool readiness
- Troubleshooting issues on site and offering practical solutions
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Communicating progress, challenges, and updates to the Foreman throughout the day

- Strong carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction
- Solid understanding of framing, formwork, building systems, and installation methods
- The ability to read and follow construction drawings with accuracy

- Experience with power tools, hand tools, and job‑site equipment

- A valid driver's license and dependable transportation
