• Manage all aspects of construction, installation, and repair of broadband infrastructure, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Repair or replace faulty cables, broadband electronics, coaxial, and fibre‑optic cables as required.
• Keep daily documentation of work performed.
• Use advanced equipment to conduct signal leakage monitoring and broadband forward/reverse sweeps.
• Complete all manhole work in accordance with policies, e.g., permit documentation, gas testing.
• Follow WCG policies, procedures, and standards of practice.

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum two‑year post‑secondary education in a related field (Electronics, Telecommunications) or relevant courses/certifications (NCTI, SCTE).
• Knowledge or experience in electronic or network installation and repair or residential wiring/construction.
• Ability to read and understand fibre‑optic/broadband plant maps and construction wiring practices.
• Certification in Basic First Aid and CPR C, or ability to obtain/maintain.
• Comfortable with heights (ladder work), confined spaces, and able to carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ready to travel, possibly with extended stays, and available on‑call for emergency services.
• Valid driver’s licence.
