Small Engine Mechanic - Keep Our Crews Running Strong
Love engines? Love solving problems? Love being the person everyone counts on? Join Livingstone Landscaping as our Small Engine Mechanic and keep our landscaping crews powered up all year long.
What You'll Do- Inspect, maintain, and repair small engine equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc.)
- Diagnose issues quickly and recommend cost-effective fixes
- Overhaul engines and assemble/test new equipment
- Build and manage a preventative maintenance schedule
- Track parts, maintain inventory, and keep tools in top shape
- Communicate repair priorities with the Shop Manager and crews
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Assist with seasonal equipment changeovers and occasional snow removal
- Experience with small engine repair
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Organized, proactive, and reliable
- Comfortable working independently and with a team
- Take pride in keeping equipment safe, efficient, and ready to roll
