Hamiota Feedlot Ltd. is currently accepting applications for a full-time Yard Supervisor. We are a Custom Feedlot, back grounding and finishing up to 12,500 head of cattle. We are located 3 miles west of Hamiota, MB on Road #469. The primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate and oversee the day‑to‑day equipment and infrastructure maintenance operations at the Hamiota Feedlot. Applicants must be punctual, reliable and have strong leadership skills.
Electrical, plumbing, welding and cattle experience are assets.
- Communicate with the team about finances and operations
- Follow and enforce safety procedures
- Oversee and direct equipment maintenance and repairs
- Oversee and direct infrastructure maintenance and repairs
- Yard staff supervision and direction
- Plan for seasonal repairs and maintenance with the management team
- Direct management of the shop, including cleaning, re‑stocking and maintenance
