We are now accepting applications for:
SEASONAL LABOURER
Water Treatment Plant - Operations Division

** More than one position may be filled from this competition*
* We are looking for motivated individuals that possess:

- Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License
- Grade 12, , , or Mature High School Diploma
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Safety Training
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work at various heights
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, indoors and outdoors, in all temperature extremes and with a wide range of adverse conditions including obnoxious odours, loud noises or high humidity

Hours of work:
The Seasonal Labourer normally works full-time hours (40 hours per week, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday).

IMPORTANT: Seasonal Labourers have the opportunity to apply for other opportunities, including permanent positions, which are only open to current City of Brandon CUPE Local 69 employees.

Duration of position: While most Seasonal Labourer positions are seasonal in nature, usually lasting until late fall, there is the possibility of longer assignments.
