Responsibilities- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk area
- Verify patient insurance information and collect payments for services rendered
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all documentation
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Manage medical scheduling system to optimize appointment availability
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with other office staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a dental or medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
