* Position Summary:

** This position provides tutoring support to Hillsborough College students in person on the Brandon Campus.
*
* Job Duties:

*** Works closely with students to assess their strengths and weaknesses, tailoring lessons to meet individual learning needs. This may involve clarifying concepts learned in class and providing additional resources or projects as needed.
* Prepares for sessions by reviewing lesson plans and/or relevant materials, ensuring they are well-equipped to teach the subject matter effectively.
* Monitor student progress, provide feedback to students and communicate with the students about their development.
* Creates a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills and confidence in their abilities.
