Pattison Media has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, talented and team-oriented News Reporter/Morning Co-host looking to advance their career in broadcasting. Based in Brandon, MB, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
News responsibilities:
Lead production of news content for web and radio to enhance the competitive position for two radio stations.Ensure a consistent experience for listeners.Good storyteller, in short form.Write morning news for both 94-7 STAR and Q CountryWrite and voice Agricultural reports.Balancing diverse needs of our audience and regional landscape.Being highly involved in the community in a news capacity or as a company representative.Daily news reporting and anchoring.Qualifications:
Familiarity with journalistic practices and principles, codes of conduct and legal requirements.Degree or diploma from a recognized broadcast school.Passion for news and likes to have fun in the hallsStrong on-air presence and writing skills, for on-air and web.Strong knowledge of Burli & Wide Orbit.A valid driver’s licenseAuthorized to work in Canada.Who we are:
