Child Care Assistant

Samaritan House Ministries Inc. is seeking a flexible Child Care Assistant to join our Mary’s House Second-Stage Housing Program to support families in transition. This position is 8 hours per week, 4 hour shifts on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with the possibility of extra hours as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Providing support for families
• Providing child care during groups
• Maintain a clean work/play environment
• Collaborate with other team members
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• CCA certification or other experience working with children
• Punctual and reliable with good time management
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Trauma Informed knowledge and awareness
• Child abuse and Criminal Record checks will be required
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
