What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.
As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

Saturday & Sunday: 7AM-7PMResponsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard
Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activityRespond quickly to incidents or potential threatsDocument observed events and incidents, writing detailed reportsConduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premisesControl access to secure areas and check visitor identificationAnalyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctionsWork with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergenciesQualifications for Surveillance Security Guard
Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Ontario security license WSIB approved First Aid and CPR level C required Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout shiftThis posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.
