Description
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Manager of Inside Sales Representatives the role will function as a liaison between Davis Standard Internal Departments, its current customers, and potential new customers as well as Outside Sales representatives. To manage and grow profitable sales for the assigned business territory (primarily, but not limited to, transactional accounts) by retaining existing business and by uncovering new opportunities to include Davis
- Standard products in a customer’s finished goods. To make a positive contribution, enabling Davis Standard to continue to grow and operate in an effective, efficient, and profitable manner. To work with outside vendors to obtain quotes of products and processes in a professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Make outbound calls and respond to customer inquiries for spare parts quickly and efficientlyAnswer phone calls and emails in a professional mannerAccurately confirm replacement parts to meet specificationsBuild rapport with customersCollect customer information for future follow-upsUpsell services and make product recommendationsClose sales and meet and exceed company quotasEnter quotes and orders into Appropriate ERP systemIdentify sales opportunitiesSupport order picking and shipping as requiredStaying informed about product and service information updatesJob Requirements:
High School Diploma is required;
College Diploma in Business Administration and or equivalent is preferredMinimum of 2 years Inside sales experienceEnergetic, self-motivated, client focused is a mustStrong technical aptitude with the ability to read mechanical and electrical drawingsWorking knowledge of MS Office suite of productsSelf disciplined with excellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast paced environmentStrong prospecting, negotiating and closing skillsStrong communication skills - English verbal and written is requiredPeople oriented and experienced in rapport buildingAbility to sell and promote additional offerings to customersWorking knowledge of various technology and software programsAbility to be flexible with work hours to meet occasional customer urgent requestsAbility to potentially travel up to 10% of the timePrevious experience with ERP systems is an assetExperience with CRM systems such as Salesforce a PlusDavis-Standard Company is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
