Our insurance brokerage client in Brampton, ON are currently expanding their team and are seeking a well-rounded Personal Lines Team Lead who can develop insurance producers and provide them with technical training related to servicing and underwriting guidelines along with ensuring they are hitting assigned sales targets. This is a critical role within the organization where the ideal candidate will play a lead hand in supercharging their sales function.

  • Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and supervise members of the Personal Lines team of producers on outbound sales, applications/submission quality, and overall servicing duties ensuring consistent performance and professional growth
  • Oversee team sales targets and ensure producers meet or exceed monthly production goals
  • Work closely with underwriters to resolve complex issues, negotiate terms, and maintain strong carrier relationships
  • Drive team engagement, implement best practices, and contribute to strategic initiatives as the team expands from a few members to approximately ten staff
  • Qualifications

  • 7 years’ experience in personal lines (outbound sales and service combined)
  • At least 2 years of past insurance sales leadership experience required
  • Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and evolving carrier guidelines is a must
  • Valid RIBO license
  • Experience with Powerbroker is an asset
