- Pay Rate: $60,000 - $90,000 / annually (based on experience)

- Assist in managing and coordinating the retreading process from initial inspection to final finishing.
- Support the execution of production schedules to meet customer demands.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of retread materials and finished goods.
- Control and safeguard plant inventory and equipment.
- Supervise, coach, and support staff; assist with training and ongoing performance management.
- Help with staffing and equipment resource planning based on production requirements.
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve production targets, reduce scrap, and increase output.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline production workflows.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure proper operation and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Assist in implementing quality control measures to uphold high production standards.
- Contribute to the analysis of production data and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, policies, and industry standards.
- Support collaboration with sales, logistics, and other departments to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Serve as backup to the Plant Manager during absences and assist with additional managerial duties.
- Utilize production software to prepare reports and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
- Proficiency with production management software and Microsoft Office (Excel required).
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a sharp attention to detail.
- Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices in tire retreading (an asset).
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
