The Manager of Information Security is a key leadership position within our IT department, responsible for driving the strategic direction, development, and implementation of our organization's Information Security program. This role encompasses a broad range of activities, from policy development and risk management to incident response and compliance oversight. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of information security principles, demonstrate a strong leadership capability, and excel at cross-functional collaboration to ensure the security and integrity of our information systems and data.

How YOU will make a difference:
Information Security Strategy (25%)

Strategically develop, implement, and maintain a robust information security strategy, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and organizational objectives.

Regularly assess and adapt the strategy to respond to new threats and technological changes, ensuring continuous improvement of security posture.

Team Leadership and Management (30%)

Provide dynamic leadership to the information security team, fostering an environment of growth, learning, and operational excellence.

Manage all aspects of the team's operations, including recruitment, training, performance management, and team-building activities.

Policy Development and Compliance (15%)

Draft, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies, standards, and guidelines across the organization.

Oversee compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations related to information security.

Risk Management and Incident Response (15%)

Lead risk assessment processes, identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Develop and maintain an efficient incident response plan, coordinating quick and effective actions in the event of a security breach.

Technology Management (10%)

Supervise the selection, implementation, and maintenance of security technologies and infrastructure.

Stay abreast of emerging security threats and technologies, recommending enhancements to the organization's security architecture.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management (5%)

Build and maintain strong relationships with external security vendors, ensuring access to cutting‑edge solutions and services.

Effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including executive management, to align security initiatives with broader business objectives.

What YOU bring to the role:

Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in information security, with a focus on strategy, policy development, and team management.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees or specialized training.

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
