Overview
This is a hybrid position (4 days per week in office from 1 of our office locations below and 1 day remote).

This opportunity can be based out of either Office Location below:

Brampton location @ 1 Presidents Choice Cir, Brampton, ON L6Y 5S5 (near Hwy. 407 and Mississauga Rd)

North York location @ 243 Consumers Rd, North York, ON M2J 4W8 (near Hwy 404 and Hwy 401)

We’re looking for a  Director, Business Analytics  to help shape the future of Lifemark Health Group’s business operations through data-driven innovation. Reporting to the Vice President, Technology and Analytics, you will drive Lifemark's data strategy, overseeing the development of our data environment, operational reporting and the implementation of AI/ ML to drive business growth and operational excellence. We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic leader who thrives in partnership and is excited to be part of our growth story.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with Lifemark’s business objectives

Lead a team of data analysts, data & BI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Collaborate with business stakeholders and executives to identify data-driven opportunities for business growth and efficiency

Data Infrastructure

Oversee and enhance the data lake

Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all data systems

Drive the adoption of modern data technologies and best practices

AI/ML Integration

Spearhead the integration of AI/ML solutions to optimize clinic and business operations (e.g., predictive models and recommendation engines)

Team Management

Mentor and develop a high-performing team of data professionals

Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, aligning with overall business objectives

Foster collaboration between data teams and other departments

What we’re looking for

Degree in Data Science, Computer Science or related field, MBA or advanced degree a plus

10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields, with 5+ years in leadership roles

Proven track record of implementing successful data strategies in fast-growing organizations

Strong background in data security and governance

Exceptional communication skills, able to translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Strategic thinker with the ability to align data initiatives with business goals

Demonstrated success managing remote teams across different regions, ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration and reliable results

Track record of building and leading high-performing teams

Proven experience scaling a mid-sized company

Experience in the Healthcare Industry would be considered a strong asset

Technical Knowledge

Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance

Familiarity with data visualization tools and BI platforms

Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices

Deep understanding of modern data stack technologies, including Azure cloud platform and Power BI data visualization tool

Strong background in AI/ML applications for business optimization

Certifications in Data Management or Cloud Technologies would be a strong asset
