Hardware and Accessories Technician

Max Sys Staffing is currently hiring Full Time Hardware/Accessories Technicians for a video game warehouse in Brampton, near Airport/Queen. You will be working with various video game accessories such as consoles, controllers, third party accessories.

Shift: Mornings, Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 4:15pm OR 8:15am to 4:45pm
Pay Rate: $18/hour

PLEASE NOTE:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair, diagnose, locate circuit and component faults for electronic handheld devices, controllers and gaming consoles such as PS3, PS4, PS5, X-BOX ONE, Nintendo Switch, etc.
• Disassemble of the electronic devices for its failure cause, test and inspection of internal components using electronic instruments, circuit testers, multi meters, and other tools to identify and trace equipment faults, and adjust, replace or repair the equipment using hand and power tolls, heat guns, and soldering tools. Reassemble device with new cosmetic parts as per the requirement, use of specific hand tools and soldering to align replace or repair small electronic components such as HDMI, charge ports etc.,

by following manual and schematics.
• Test functionality of devices by using written procedures before moving along to the next process.
• Upgrade internal software of any Gaming Consoles to the latest software versions.
• Consistently meet deadlines and requirements for all production work orders. Complete test and maintenance reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least 6 months to 1 year of previous electronics repair

• Previous knowledge/use of soldering gun/equipment required

• High attention to detail

• Must be willing to perform some general labour duties alongside technician duties
