We are seeking a dedicated caregiver for two clients in Brampton.

Client 1:

• Location:
  
  1 Embleton Rd and Heritage Rd (Major intersections: Peel Regional Rd 1 and Queen St W).
• Schedule:
  
  3-4 hours weekly.

Client 2:

• Location:
  
  McLaughlin Rd N and Sandalwood Pkwy W.
• Schedule:
  
  4 hours per day, 1-2 days per week.

This is an ongoing role, and we are looking for someone committed and reliable. There is also potential for the hours to increase over time.

Job Summary

As a Personal Support Worker/Caregiver, you’ll play a key role in improving the lives of our clients by providing personalized care and support. Reporting to the Care Coordinator, you’ll deliver services that meet each client’s unique needs in a safe and caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning and evening care routines.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping to ensure a comfortable home environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist clients with ambulation, outings, and errands.
• Support with medication reminders and basic health tasks.
• Follow and update care plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
• Help clients manage daily activities with care and dignity.

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (e.g., foreign-trained nurse, nursing student with at least one year of training).
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Clear Police Record Check (Vulnerable Sector Screening) or willingness to obtain one.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Reliable internet access and a mobile phone.
• Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer’s care is an asset.
