Financial Analytics Consultant

Location: Halton Hills

About Our Client Our client is sourcing a Financial Analytics Consultant for a 12-month contract. About the Opportunity Assist with ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) reporting, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with SaaS best practices

Develop and analyze retention, churn, and cohort reporting to support revenue forecasting and strategic planning

Perform advanced data manipulation and modeling across large and complex datasets

Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales, Product) to improve reporting and insights

Build and maintain dashboards and reports for executive leadership

Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning initiatives

Assist with M&A-related financial analysis, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration support (as applicable)
Continuously improve reporting processes, tools, and data accuracy

About You Must-Have

Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience with ARR reporting

Proven expertise in retention and churn analysis

Expert-level data manipulation skills (advanced Excel, SQL, or similar tools)
Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience with SaaS financial reporting

Experience using Power BI and/or Tableau Exposure to M&A transactions or integration work

CPA certification

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
