Project Manager, Systems Engineer

TGS in partnership with Rogers, Wireline PMO, is looking to add 1 PM to support Enterprise Business Network Projects. This role can sit in Calgary, AB, or Brampton, ON.

The Project Manager will be Supporting Rogers Wireline & Enterprise Business Networks;

• Collective programs that expand and modernize Rogers’ national wireline infrastructure to meet growing enterprise demand.

• Strengthen network resiliency and redundancy across East, West, and former Shaw regions to ensure reliable enterprise business network performance.

• Integrate and unify network architectures, systems, and operations to create a cohesive national Enterprise Business Network.

• Streamline service provisioning, configuration, and management to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.

Activities for PM;

• Support Enterprise Business Networks Projects

• Perform End to end-to-end project Management

• Project management including Project scoping, stakeholder identification, creation and update of Project schedule.

• Manage project financials,, including budget management, financial forecasting, financial reporting.

• Manage and update actions/risk log weekly.

• Manage Project issues on a daily basis.

• Weekly project tracking and status reporting.

• Provide weekly reports on progress and financial forecast.

• Facilitate cross-functional workshops and meetings as required.

• Manage end-to-end deliverables inclusive of Project closure.

Project Scope 1:

• Expanding network capacity, improving efficiency, and strengthening resiliency to support growing enterprise business services

Project Scope 2:

• Projects validating, integrating, and interconnecting the enterprise network while enabling end to end service testing and supporting architecture, requirements, and configuration development.

Project scope 3:

• Projects to modernize and unify national wireline services by expanding coverage, improving resiliency, and streamlining operations across former Rogers and Shaw networks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must have Experience

- 8+ years of Project Management Experience

• Experience supporting network infrastructure projects, including complex, multi-domain network programs (IP, transport, wireline, enterprise service)

• Experience with enterprise service deployment, including enterprise connectivity products (VPNs, Ethernet, PoN, redundancy models, QoS).

• Cross-functional Project Management; proven ability to work with engineering, architecture, operations, IT/OSS, and product teams.

- Ability to work in a hybrid environment

- End-to-End Project Management Experience, including resource management, vendor management, project tracking and reporting, and budget management

- Proven track record to delivering projects on time and within budget

- Strong written and verbal communication, ability to present to executives

- Previous Experience working with Rogers Communications

- Enterprise Business Networks

- PMP Designation

- Jira Experience

- Oracle Experience

- Experience in a variety of Wireline Projects

- Canadian Carrier Experience
