This role will be based out of their offices in Brampton.

Your New Role Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this General Accountant role will support the end‑to‑end accounting cycle across a group of entities, with a strong focus on intepany transactions, reconciliations, and month‑end close. You will work closely with AR, AP, and senior finance leadership, gaining exposure to treasury activities, inventory and fixed assets, and year‑end processes.

This is a hands‑on role well suited to someone who enjoys digging into the detail, improving processes, and building a deep understanding of how multi‑entity, project‑driven businesses operate. Over time, the position offers scope to evolve into a more senior or analytical role within the team.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting month‑end close across multiple entities, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance

Performing monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolving variances

Managing a high volume of intepany transactions and reconciliations

Supporting inventory accounting, variance analysis, and related adjustments

Assisting with fixed asset accounting, including CAPEX vs. OPEX tracking and disposals

Overseeing accounts payable activity, primarily intepany

Preparing indirect tax reconciliations and filings

Supporting year‑end reviews and audit requests

Assisting with system upgrades, implementations, and data validation

Ensuringpliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Enrollment in the CPA program (in progress)

Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month‑end close

Advanced Excel skills andfort working with large data sets

Exposure to inventory and fixed asset accounting (highly regarded)

Experience in a project‑based, construction, or manufacturing environment is helpful but not essential

Confidentmunicator who is proactive, curious, andfortable working cross‑functionally

Strong attention to detail, discretion, and a problem‑solving mindset
