The Sales Support Associate role is an integral part of the store’s success and efficiency, supporting brand commitment when servicing customers and maintaining a well‑organized sales floor from receipt of product through the point of sale.

Responsibilities Cash Wrap
  • Greet the customer with a smile and eye contact, and offer your name
  • Interact genuinely and naturally with the customer
  • Read cues and determine customers’ needs
  • Conduct email/name capture, where permitted by law
  • Maintain accuracy when operating POS
  • Maintain cash wrap organization and cleanliness
  • Suggest multiple add-ons and sell gift cards
  • Maintain cash and POS media accurately and in compliance with Coach policy
  • Create a lasting impression by thanking the customer and providing a reason to return
  • Represent the Coach brand appropriately
Stockroom / Warehouse
  • Receive shipments and transfers
  • Notify Store Management when new product arrives
  • Scan cartons/transfers and verify store information
  • Communicate all discrepancies to Store Management
  • Process shipment/transfers according to Coach standards and time frames
  • Organize and clean stock room daily; include offsite/remote warehouse as applicable
  • Shift/organize product in the stockroom; react to sell‑through and make room for new product
  • Manage stock levels/product ownership in back‑of‑house and sales floor
  • Prepare and conduct regular cycle counts, as directed
  • Participate in store physical inventory counts, as scheduled
  • Maintain Company Loss Prevention standards
Sales Floor
  • Regularly analyze sales floor to assess replenishment needs
  • Replenish sales floor/assigned zone
  • React to sell‑through and execute visual merchandising needs
  • Support sales floor activities, as directed
  • Communicate information about price points, features/benefits, color and stock availability to customers
  • Respond to customer requests confidently; partner with sales team or Store Management when needed
  • Drive for results: consistently exceed goals and perform at a high level
  • Customer focus: meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Creativity: generate new and unique ideas and make connections between ideas
  • Interpersonal savvy: relate well to all kinds of people and build constructive relationships

Qualifications and Experience

Experience:

1–3 years of retail experience (cashier/stock/sales), preferably in a luxury retail service environment. Knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.

Technical:
Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, internet), ability to use walkie talkie, read price and product release sheets.

Physical:
Ability to work at a fast pace; communicate effectively with customers and team; maneuver on the sales floor, shelves, and stock room; ability to climb, bend, and kneel; ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds to process shipments/transfers.

Schedule:

Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic times.

Benefits and Compensation

Base pay range: $15.00 to $19.50 hourly. Tapestry will comply with minimum wage requirements and applicable pay laws based on city, county, and state regulations.

General Description of Benefits:
