Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2693) rting hourly rate is $18.50 USD per hour; pay range is $18.50 - $27.75 per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests in solving their specific needs with a welcoming approach.
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target.
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate Target App features and Wallet.
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; guide guests on enrollment and usage.
• Handle returns following store policies; collaborate with Leaders as needed to resolve guest issues.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock during store hours.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up and Drive-Up while complying with applicable laws (including adult beverage laws where relevant).
• All other duties as needed based on business requirements.

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Ability to stay mobile for scheduled shift duration and work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
