Compliance Manager (Affordable Housing)
Peabody Properties, Inc. is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join its growing Compliance Team. The role works in conjunction with Operations and other departments to ensure full compliance with affordable housing requirements within Peabody's portfolio. Routine responsibilities include assisting sites in preparation for and response to scheduled audits and inspections, monitoring for timely completion of recertifications, determining valid or invalid EIV discrepancies, performing annual property reviews, understanding the affordable layering program and ensuring property team members are kept abreast of changing forms, policies and procedures.

- Determine valid or invalid EIV discrepancies
- Perform annual property reviews
- Understand affordable layering program
- Keep property team members informed of changing forms, policies and procedures
- 4+ years’ experience in property management
- Proficiency in the administration of all current government housing assistance programs, in particular Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Project-Based Section 8, HOME
- Knowledge of affordable housing, Federal, State and Local housing regulations
- Excellent customer service
- Attention to detail in document/file maintenance – high degree of organization
- Proficient understanding of basic math concepts
- Solid computer skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, across a wide audience
- Self‑motivated, initiative‑taking
- Travel required
Requires high school diploma or GED with a minimum of four years related property management experience. Extensive knowledge of primary software used by the Management Office (Onesite), including proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong experience working with various subsidy programs including Low‑Income Housing Tax Credit, Project-Based Section 8 and EIV experience.
Compensation and BenefitsPeabody Properties, Inc. offers $79,000‑$89,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, 401(k), STD, life insurance, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, employee referral bonuses, and flex spending.
