HR Technology/ HRIS Specialist (UKG Systems) – Braintree, Massachusetts
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled HR Technology Specialist to translate the organization’s human resources, payroll and benefits management needs into technical solutions. The HR Technology Specialist will maintain and optimize our HRIS System (UKG) and related systems. This role serves as the primary technical resource for HR systems, focusing on development, integrations, reporting, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with an understanding of HR operations and the ability to collaborate across Compliance, IT, and Finance teams.
Responsibilities- System Administration & Maintenance:
Administer and support managers in the setup and use of UKG modules including PRO, Benefits, WFM, Compliance, Learning and Time Management and more;
Maintain data integrity, accuracy, and security across all HR-related systems;
Manage system updates, release schedules, testing, and system-related change requests. - Reporting & Analytics:
Develop, maintain, and automate BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making;
Partner with leadership to deliver actionable insights on workforce metrics and trends;
Ensure compliance with data privacy, documentation and reporting standards. - System Development & Integrations:
Design and implement system configurations, integrations, and workflow automations to optimize HR operations;
Collaborate with IT and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, data errors, or performance concerns;
Evaluate and implement new system features or enhancements to improve user experience. - Process Improvement & Project Management:
Lead or support HR technology projects, including new system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements;
Identify system opportunities to streamline HR processes and reduce manual efforts through system automation;
Partner with HR, Compliance, Finance, IT and other stakeholders to align technology solutions with business needs. - User Support & Training:
Serve as a technical expert and point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries;
Provide training, documentation, and guidance to key roles and end users;
Develop and maintain user-friendly process documentation and reference materials.
Full Time:
Monday-Friday business hours in-office at Braintree, MA with flexibility for some remote days after onboarding training.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience administering or developing HRIS systems (UKG experience strongly preferred).
- Experience with HR process design, reporting, and system integrations.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency with UKG Pro (or UKG WFM) modules and configurations.
- Solid understanding of HR data structures, security, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting or leading HR system implementations or upgrades.
- Working knowledge of payroll administration, benefits, and HR compliance practices.
- Experience with API or middleware integrations between HR and enterprise systems.
- Skilled in report building and data visualization (e.g., UKG BI, Cognos, or Power BI).
- Familiarity with Google Work spaces preferred.
