The on-call caregiver should be a seasoned, experienced caregiver for senior citizens. HHA or CNA certification is desired, but a strong work history with elderly clients would be seriously considered if applicant was non-certified. The on-call caregiver has potential to make a significant amount of money. Full time work, overtime pay and a flat rate on call payment could all be combined in one pay period to make for a large payout.
Referral bonus, sign on bonus, mileage pay, merit bonus, holiday pay and more are also available.
The main function of the on-call caregiver is to be available outside of regular business hours to the On Call Supervisor in order to fill last minute call outs and urgent client needs. To assist clients in their own homes with activities of daily living, boost their spirits, and significantly improve their quality of life, by delivering quality and safe home health care services.
May receive calls at ANY time prior to or during the On Call Shift, i.e. may be called at midnight to go in for an overnight if On Call 8pm-8am.
