The Gardner School is a state‑of‑the‑art educational program for young children and their families. We have a supportive environment for staff with competitive pay and benefits. Ideal candidates will have some college education and some experience with young children.

The hourly pay range for this position is $19.00-$23.00, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Greet each child by name and acknowledge parents during drop off and pick up times daily.
  • Ensure the safety of each child.
  • Maintain confidentiality of school directives, curriculum and software.
  • Read, understand and implement all policies and procedures of The Gardner School and all State Licensing Agencies.
  • Maintain professional and positive relationships with the parents and coworkers.
  • Advise the Director or Assistant Director of any supplies needed for the upcoming months.
  • Follow the standards set forth for the conduct and responsibilities of all staff members who come in contact with children.

Assistant Teacher Desired Skills And Experience
  • One year professional experience.
  • Must love working with children and have a loving and nurturing personality.
  • Excellent communication skills, including personal face‑to‑face communications with parents, staff, and children.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy required.
Assistant Teacher

Minimum Qualifications
  • BS or BA degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education or related degree preferred.
  • Intermediate PC skills.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
