Traffic Supervisor (Crossing-Guard) –
Braintree Public Schools

Braintree Public Schools is currently looking for permanent and substitute School Traffic Supervisors (Crossing Guards) to help keep our students safe on their way to and from school.

This role is a part‑time position focused on safely guiding students across streets at designated crosswalks. Traffic Supervisors do not issue citations or have enforcement authority. Training and uniform are provided.

• Guide students safely across streets at designated crosswalks.
• Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor and work effectively with children.
• Adhere to all school and district policies while supervising traffic.

• High school graduate.
• Pass CORI and Board of Probation checks.
• Undergo a physical exam with drug testing.
• Display professional, courteous demeanor; ability to work with children.
