Due to growth, we are hiring a Concierge in our Braintree, MA location. The Concierge is the first and last point of contact for potential and current customers and is therefore one of the most important positions within our store environment. Your commitment to service and exceeding customers’ expectation is what will define your success in this role. This position requires you to be flexible, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask and work with many different facets of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet all customers in an authentic and professional manner. Ensure that all customers feel welcomed and valued. Manage incoming customer visits, especially during heightened business periods and monitor intake ability throughout the day.
- Inquire about the reason for a customer’s visit and follow through with the appropriate introduction to a sales or service professional. Offer hospitality and comfort should a customer need to wait for their designated sales professional.
- Be able to converse and engage with customers as they wait to enter the store/boutique during peak business periods. Provide general information about the local area to customers visiting the area.
- Be knowledgeable of daily appointments, scheduled VIC visits, and other unique activities scheduled for the day.
- Act a second pair of eyes and ears when it comes to monitoring inside and outside the premises for any type of unusual activity which might be a security risk. Partner with security regarding these situations.
- Assist with the answering of overflow phone calls.
- Assist with opening and closing responsibilities of your location.
- Always ensure pristine condition of physical premises.
Requirements:
- Prior hospitality and/or luxury retail environment, preferably in customer service
- Intuitive customer service skills
- Professional demeanor coupled with a welcoming personality
- Self-motivated and ability to anticipate the needs of others
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to stand and work on one’s feet for the whole workday
- Interest in fine jewelry and luxury timepieces a plus
