Payroll​/AR Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing team. This position is responsible for managing payroll processes and handling accounts receivable functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Maintain employee payroll records and handle inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment posting, and collections.
• Reconcile AR accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with month-end close and provide support for audits as needed.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in payroll and accounts receivable.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Quick Books, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
