Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations across multiple business entities. This role contributes to the full month-end close process, maintains accurate financial records, and ensures compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple entities
• Maintain fixed asset records and prepare related monthly entries
• Handle daily treasury functions such as payments, transfers, and bank administration
• Perform monthly cash reconciliations, forecasting, and intercompany transactions
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany and third-party invoices
• Process employee expense reimbursements and record related entries
• Analyze monthly financial results and ensure reports comply with GAAP
• Assist with audit requests, year-end schedules, and reporting packages
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data for close
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA beneficial
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with accounting software; cloud-based systems a plus
• Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
